We did a turkey release about 3 weeks ago with the AZ Fish and Wildlife Service. We released 55 turkeys total, equipped several with radio "backpacks", and tagged all of them. They were suprisingly docile and didn't peck, even when we "pierced" their wings with the tags. It was unbearably cold that day, so I look like an eskimo.
On a side note, Brett is coming to Utah!! I'm so excited. He got a job as a seasonal ranger at Canyonlands National Park! Congrats!!

Severe Pillow Fight
Sep. 28- At 1:29 a.m., a Jefferson Hall R.A. alerted campus police after one of his first-floor residents sustained a nose injury during a pillow fight that was so severe that he required ambulance transport to Mary Washington Hospital. The responding officer reported that the victim's nose was visibly disfigured. The student insisted that the pillow fight was friendly in nature, and said that he could not identify his assailant.
Thank you, wonders of the internet. As an alumnus, I no longer have to miss out on reading the UMW Police Beat
